Seattle, Washington, August 11, 2022 – Lenovo confirms Esper to the Trusted Supplier Program.
Lenovo’s Trusted Supplier Program was created to ensure that every supplier meets the highest security standard set by Lenovo’s customers.
Lenovo’s supply chain was ranked #9 in Gartner’s 2022 Top 25 Global Supply Chain, a renowned annual ranking of supply chain leaders. The Trusted Supplier Program has been recognized by experts in supply chain security.
The program application involves an extensive review of a supplier’s security processes relating to IT management, software development, human resource policies, and more. Suppliers are required to have a formal process and dedicated resources to identify, evaluate, control, and monitor security threats that arise. Qualified suppliers undergo re-evaluation on a periodic basis to ensure compliance to industry best practices and processes around identifying and mitigating security risks.
